Elham-Eid Alldredge, Ph.D.

Senior Survey Researcher and Program Evaluator, is the founder, president and CEO of SAMAD Research, LLC (SAMAD). Dr. Alldredge has over 25 years of experience in project management, survey research, program evaluation design and implementation, study design (including sample design, questionnaire development, data collection, focus group moderation, data analysis, and report/technical writing. She has directed numerous projects, both domestic and international, covering a range of content areas such as: HIV/AIDS, cancer screening, substance abuse, health and mental health, child support enforcement, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, aging, rural development, education, teacher professional development and its impact on reading and math, workforce investment, and disabilities. She has managed a large number of studies involving data collection using Computer-Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI), face-to-face interviewing, mail surveys, web-based surveys, and focus groups. Dr. Alldredge obtained her Ph.D. in Sociology from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Dr. Alldredge owned and operated REDA International, Inc. (REDA), a Maryland based small woman owned company, for 20 years.

During those years she provided overall fiscal and technical direction to REDA. She was successful in growing REDA from a start up to a dynamic research firm with stellar reputation. Sponsors of REDA projects were federal government agencies, state agencies, nonprofit organizations, academia and commercial clients. She sold REDA to a large business in 2011.

Dr. Alldredge is a member of AAPOR (American Association of Public Opinion Research), WE (the Washington Evaluators, and MMIRA (Mixed Methods International Research Association) and keeps up with developments in our survey research and methods industry.
